Yep. I am going to start remixing this today. This shit jams. James Blake is one talented kiddo. I am usually taken by female vocals...pero...I'm on it.

"FEED ME SEYMOUR!!!"

It looks as though we may have another super producer on our hands. I am looking into who is actually under the alias. I feel it's someone we all know well. Either way...I present to you..........Feed Me

OM effin G

With incredibly haunting vocal insertions that almost offer a break from the murderous mayhem that is this track, Bare Noize has put together something that makes me hunger for next Halloween. I have heard a few of his remixes floating around before but my first stop at his soundcloud page was well overdue.

You used up all of your internets

I don't care much for M.I.A. but this is still a very nicely rolled joint. Just enough sizzle on the top end of the bass line as always from Mr. Flux Pavilion.

This is my theme park

Nosaj Thing remixed this Drake track during a time when I had very little respect for top 40 music. Rap in particular. But simply putting quality music production behind the vocal track (which I would have normally found to be horrific) almost seemed to even increase the quality of the verbal message. Lil Wayne's verse especially. Eminem? Still.. meh...

Muck-lucks and Seal Blubber

Ok so Eskmo is easily one of my favorite artists over the last couple of years. And obviously "Cloudlight"
is the best damned video in a while. case in point...

This remix below also inspires a lot of emotion within me.  Sweet tits I say. Sweet tits.

Flux

This guy. Gold Dust got my attention and he has had it since. But if you really want to hear some interesting shit, check out the Flux Pavilion soundcloud page! It's all OLD and D&B.

Yessir!

Next up is Gabe Flaherty hailing from Toronto. He's another one of those instances where you listen to his work and wonder why the hell you have never heard of him. This seems to be the only dubstep track in his catalog but the rest deserve merit due to the obvious production skills this kid possesses. Click on his name and go show him some love.

Sonny Moore AKA Skrillex has had me going over and over and over this track trying to figure out how on earth he makes some of these sounds. I almost feel like some of his bass growls are super pitched down bits of vocal noises which are distorted and layered above the sub synth. Man what I would give for a day in the studio with this effing guy! If any of you know how he does this... please enlighten me.

A long way coming

St Andrew was a regular on repeat in my car (two years ago) with this relatively unknown track.

Erectro by St Andrew

With its slower bpm I had to really flex to work it into a live set one night at PLUSH, but damn the floor went nuts. I still have no idea why this kid is not a household name. Jussayin.

THIS is where he is now. It makes me smile.

And it keeps on raining...

Jakwob is making some pretty good ripples in the dubstep pond lately. His style helps to confirm to any producer that it is very important to find that fine line between minimal and busy. He proudly displays that complexity does not always mean quality. I personally can testify that achieving that is no easy task.

Keep Shelly in my Waxhole!

This is a track that I have been seriously considering throwing a remix at. It begins with such a serious yet beautiful tone and naturally ends with a little booty shake. These kids from Greece are going to stick around in my mp3 player for a while.

SPEED UP!

I truly loved this vocal track when House music was at the apex of my musical interest. So as soon as I found the a cappella I just had to play with it.

enjoy
